We are a club of members that enjoy building and flying radio controlled model aircraft. Our club airport is located a few miles northwest of Surprise AZ. We have been active here since 1986.

The Speedworld R/C Flyers have received approval for an FAA Recognized Identification Area (FRIA ) for the club flying site.

Our Flying Field

SWRCF Flying Field

The flying field has two paved runways, a permanent AMA Three Pylon Racing Course, and a Heli pad. The Heli pad location allows helicopter and drone operations separate from operations on the main runway.

From the intersection of the Loop 303 and Grand Avenue (US 60), proceed northwest on Grand Avenue about 3.5 miles to W. Happy Valley Rd and turn left. Continue about 1.5 miles to the field entrance and turn right. Continue about a quarter mile to the flying field.
